Hi folks how are we all???

My name is Scott Watson, I'm 21 years old and originally from Scotland. I'm based at RAF St. Mawgan at the moment in Cornwall with the Royal Air Force.

I am married to the beautiful Gemma who isnt a magician however can fan a deck of cards alot better than I can. Hehe!

I have been performing magic since the age of 7 most of the time spent in the field of Coin Magic - Which is where I choose to put my interest when I started the business Magic-FX.

As far as the net goes, I am already a member of "Radio Magic" - (Coin Magic Moderator) "Ultimate Magic" - (Coin Magic Moderator), "Magic Bunny" , "CC-Magic" and "The Cafe" plus I'm the Librarian at "About Magic", so some of you may have seen me around.

In "Real Life" I am a proud member of the Cornish Magical Society (Librarian) and of the International Network for Magical Arts.

Recently I started a new venture as part of what we are calling the Magicians Network. Our aim is to bring together the tops sites into one large network and resource for magicians. Still in its early stages however. I hope it is of use to some of the Talk Magic members and their websites.

I was recently part of the Cornwall Masterclass with Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger held down in Falmouth which was an invaluable experience. And what a show.....!

Anyways, I look forward to meeting everyone on the boards, and sharing some good old fashioned magic talk about the show and indeed magic in general.

If I can be of help to anyone please feel free to get in contact with me and I will see what I can do....

Thanks Folks!!!!!!!

Scotty

Hi Scotty and welcome to TM! A few years ago I was peacefully drinking tea in the crowded National Trust Cafe at Bedruthan when one of your planes flew over about 3ft above the roof - the resulting rush for the toilets was incredible :D !

We look forward to hearing more from you in due course  ,

Hehe... Perhaps not new, however always the learner!!! I am certainly going to be looking for some advice on performing some visual card work... Unfortunately spending all my time on Coins and Close-Up "Bit 'n' Pieces" as I like to call 'em I have never really done much card work... that and the fact that I hate cards lol

Too many card tricks are so false... I cant stand "mathematical" tricks or "pile" tricks (save the jokes  ). To me, magic has to be Visual... If its not visual then it simply isn't magic in my opinion. Card tricks need to be like the Ambitious Card in order for me to perform them.

Thanks for the welcomes guys!!!!

Scotty

Hi Scotty!
I agree with the mathematical bit, 'now take one of each pile, now pick a pile and turn it over, not in there huh, look through the rest 'til you find it... found it. Is that your card!! lol wolcome haha
