I'm also a DJ, which in a roundabout way brings me to why I signed up here. I've always loved magic, at ten years old (I'm 42 this month) I could do the chinese sticks like a pro, I even had a zombie ball that was made from a silver painted ballcock and one of my mothers headscarves (those were the days!) So, at 42 ish, I still love it, in fact on a recent visit to London, I took my kids to Hamleys and spent the most money on myself in the Marvins Magic section!
I've now started to combine a few tricks with my DJ'ing, (the public love it!) but because of the circumstance of dj'ing and magicking (is that a word?) at the same time, I'm restricted to certain tricks, and finding the right ones is getting difficult. I use the d'lites quite a bit which as you can imagine, are very effective in my particular circumstance, I pull lights from my lasers and other show lights, throw them around a bit, etc etc, in fact I've just bought one of the morphing ones to vary things a little. Anyway, that's about it about me. Any questions, fire away.
