hey im from the US and i just joined this site. I am 16 now and have been doing and been interested in magic since i was about 10 years old. But in the past few months i have gained a ton of interest and have learned a few tricks and sleights. Im mostly into card stuff but also other tricks like the quarter through the can. I look foward to talking to you guys :)

questions

Postby grum7n7 » Apr 11th, '06, 01:54

thank you sir flash...also since im new to this site id like to ask a few questions sorry to be a pain

1) are you allowed to talk about and give away secrets that are freely posted on the net because i know you cant talk about how the tricks you have to buy are done

2)and how do you get granted access to the restricted arts of the site

...i appreciate this :)

1) Just cos you've found the secrets doesn't mean everyone has, so if you want to give secrets away/find them out you're in the wrong place! You can talk about them but the best thing to do is be very vague so's not to give the secret away to the casual reader (I'm naturally vague so I personally don't have much problem)!

2) I haven't been invited to join so I don't know for sure but my best advice is to read the bit on the restricted area telling you how and abide by what's said..

Hope that helps.

Just for the record, the advice from Flash is spot on. There are numerous Stickies on the first TM page which give all the details regarding your questions.
