Hello

Do you have a favorite magician who you think stands out from the crowd or has something different from the rest? one of mine would have to be Daryl i think he’s great not to many of him if any it's not just his magic but everything about the way he presents his self

Me! ;)

No really, I would probably have to say Jay Sankey (someone has to!) becuase he reminds me of me - not the talent wise (I'm not *quite* as good as him yet ;)), but sense of humour. He doesn't half make me chuckle - he is mad - like me! lol

Love

Jerry Sadowitz. He offends just about everyone with his presentation style, and I find it hilarious. Put in what is IMHO some of the finest card handling I have ever seen, and you have an act that keeps me amused for a long time...

On a more safe level, Nick EInhorn is a thoroughly professional and skillful entertainer

Harry Lorayne- Just after i got into magic I saw him do a 4 ace production on'Secret World of Magic' and it was inspiring to an eager newbie, ham-fistdedly 'working' his way through RRTCM. I've bought some of his publications since, and he's a great teacher.

Roy Walton- When he demo-ed Rainbow Cascade for me in the shop it was like watching honest-to-goodness real magic before my very eyes. He has also given me (and many other Glaswegian magicians, I imagine) some excellent tips and advice.

Bill Malone- I really like his performance style, and the tricks he teaches are excellent.

Tommy Cooper- Does he count? Who cares?! Best. Entertainer. Ever.

That is one of the main reasons i visit his shop, to watch him peform. I have been have been thinking about asking if I could get my work experience in there next year.

I do have a favourite magician. I admire him with great and frequent enthusiasm. The more astute among you will figure out who I mean.

Personally I think all the best magicians are dead. Come to think of it I don't feel that well myself.

Actually my favourite magician when I was a kid was David Nixon. I don't suppose anyone under the age of thirty even knows who I am talking about.
