Well said, I was going to get a full length mirror to practice in front of, but a bloke at the local magic shop said "never practice in front of a mirror, because you will train your eyes to look in an unrealistic place" making your magic look poor.

That's interesting... I don't practice lots in front of a mirror myself, but some things I do, especially when I first start with a new effect. I'd be interested to know other people's thoughts on this.. (maybe worth starting a thread)?

Yeah, I didnt think about that. I normally do train in front of the mirror.

Personally for me it definitely helps because I can see whats going well and clearly whats not.
