Sounds like masochism...You can't get them anyway, but you want to hear how good they are! Well, they're excellent effects written up in an entertaining way, especially Reminisce, which is a full-on, reputation-making performance piece, but only for the serious performing mentalist. Honestly, neither of these effects are of any use at all to the amateur dabbler who only performs for friends and family. If that's you (and it's me) then you're missing nothing.

I believe (although someone might correct me) that Lift is actually explained in the International Magic lecture tape. And if you saw Derren touring in 2003/4 then you saw what was essentially Reminisce performed. It's very clever. You can't help but admire the thinking behind it.

Hope that...er...helps?

If you mean me then you mean someone else (if you see what I mean). I've never been near the forums on DB's site.

Ah, no. To be honest, if I was looking to sell you'd probably want to question my motives for telling you how wonderful it was. You'd do better posting a 'wanted' notice, but these get sold pretty rarely because most people don't want to part with them for anything less than eye-watering amounts of money.

IMO, before you seriously start chasing one down you should ask yourself honestly if you only want it out of curiosity. If that's the case you'd be better off spending the money on something (or a number of things!) you would actually use.

Just my advice, for what it's worth.

Smeagan, why not reverse engineer your own versions? They don't have to use the same mechanism, and you'll discover a lot in the process.

I received it direct from Derren.
During a three day automatic writing marathon.
