Hi Bananafish, I've heard alot about you and I'm guessing you're the guy to ask :D

I've recently visited magiccircus.co.uk and met Ric (nice guy). He says he's a member of a surrey magic society or soemthing. However, from your list I can't seem to find anywhere near me, I was wondering if you could help me locate somewhere :D

I live practically next door to hampton court palace. Any help you could give me or pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Edd

Hi Kainite. That's quite a prestidgious address you have. There are a few that way, although you would probably need to hop of the tube for most of them.

Davenports run one in central london, then there is the Zodiac Magical Society. I do not know much about that though as I haven't had much dealing with them.

The Watford Association of Magicians (WAM) is one of the better ones that I personally know about - so that is probably the one I would contact first in your shoes. The Surrey Association of Magicians is also quite well known. That io ssituated in Ashstead - if you prefer to travel south.

sky321 - not sure why you are having a problem with the site. It should be ok, although I haven't checked it for a while. Having said that - when I looked just now it was a little slow...

Any of the links above will take you directly to one of the regions. I am not sure whereabouts you live as you haven't filled in the location part of your profile, if you let me know I can send you details of those societies directly in your area.

Simon

Oh, me Sir! Me! I know, Sir!

There's a "y" missing form society in the original URL.

There do seem to be some problems and all the variations I've tried have the same result. Bananafish will sort 'em out asap, never fear!

The BMS, and the junior section, are actually listed on the IMS site, they're the first two entries so you have to scroll up after clicking the map  .
