Cut mon teacher's cravate!

Postby Beardy » Apr 13th, '06, 20:48

sorry about my miz of english and french there - anyhow - this means "cut my teacher's tie!"

Since I am going into 6th form soon, I would like to, to a few teachers who i am saying goodbye to, be able to cut their tie and restore it.

If anybody could help me in finding somewhere where I can learn this, your help would be greatly appreciated.

merci! in advance, and au revoir!

Love

Chris

I know a couple of variations on cut and restored rope, but certain erm... characteristics of most ties would make it near impossible to do.

Of course if you're not going to see them again, you could just cut their tie and make a sharp exit... :)

Maybe there are some other suitable effects to perform on/for teachers?

ah - good advice, yet not probable to do :P

I'm staying in the school, so I would see the teachers again even if I don't take their lessons

ah well - I'm sure this can be done :P

Mark Wilson's complete course in magic has this sort of effect but I think it requires a duplicate tie. If one of your teachers always wears the same tie you could do it.

Cheers,
