Hi Amber, could you please do me a favour and edit that post for me! The reason it comes up TT is to stop people who don't know what it is finding out... The tt is a secret of magic (although not a brilliantly guarded one) so lets keep it as secret as possible please...

If something gets abreviated automatically on here there is probably a good reason!

Probably the first thing you need to learn about magic is the art of keeping secrets, as that is the greatest tool a magician can ever have, for example say the kid you pulled that trick on is now reading this site hoping to discover how it was done... By reading your earlier post they would know exactly the method and this will lessen the effect for them and will weaken your ability to amaze them.

There are many uses for a TT and if you edit your earlier posts in the next few minutes I will pm you a few of them. (please bear in mind this is a forum and not a chatroom (also I've been performing all day and was just off to bed) :)

You're enthusiastic eh?!

Message boards are not meant to be used in the same way as an instant messenger. You did 7 posts in 18 minutes in the same thread. This will not make people answer you more quickly, in fact it will have the opposite effect!

The main reason you didn't get your instant reply is that this is a UK based forum. Here in the UK it is 3:23 am and most people are in bed!

For help with the TT it might be a good idea to get a book to accompany it. You have bought a magicians 'tool', if you like. The TT is not a single trick, it's a tool with many possibilities! A book will tell you how to use it for many different tricks. You have a very powerful tool there, just be patient.

Sounds like you know what you're doing with you're folding coin. Bobo's Modern Coin Magic has a section on gimmicked coins and some tricks you can do with them.

Oops sorry! I am on Kentucky time, lol. And I have a book with some tricks in it, but they are all very complex, and I do not understand most of them. Also, I used up all of my babysitting money and I am b-r-o-k-e, so I can't buy anymore stuff or instructions. (Also, I will not post as much anymore, sorry.) LOL

PS: Yes, I am very enthusiastic. :D

Mod Power Rules OK?! There are one or two features like that which have been set up to automatically edit or abbreviate when required. It isn't perfect but it helps in cases like this.

Hi there,

I have both the things you mentioned and i may be able to help you out

1) The Folding Coin

This should not get edited by MODs as i promise not to reveal any secrets as that is the most important prerequisite for any magician

If you have purchased the folding coin, you would receive and instruction booklet with the trick you cna perform using it in teh same package. if not, you should know while playing around with it whta exactly it does ( Note that his can be understood by its name) It would be fairly obvious that the use is to make impossible things happen so i suggest u think up why the gimmick of that sort was created. A good trick using this coin is the 'COin thru bottle' trick, which u can look at from this link : http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=167

You may not understand the way this effect is achived but it is indeed a trick which is mostly used for this gimmicked coin. I suggest u try coming up with your own handlings to support this gimmick and achieve this effect although its important to purchase an instruction booklet once u have the money as handling plays the most important role for this type of effect. Another trick made possible by this gimmick is the bite out coin. which is fairyly simple to do just by seeing the coin hahahah. So i recomend u using teh coin for this idea of biting out a chunk of the coin which im sure u may not need an instruction booklet to do.

2) TT

Well a TT is a EXTREMELY useful magician gimmick which is used to perform some of the BEST of THE BEST magic effetcs ever to be made known, I wont give away how to use a TT as it is against the rules of this forum but I prompt you to experiment with and and buy an instruction booklet on it once u get enough spare cash. ( Note that each of the two booklets you are looking for can be foind in JB Bobos coin Magic book and PenguinMagic.com respectively)

I can help you to use your TT in the meanwhile before u manage to attain your booklet by telling you that a TT is widely used to vanish or produce small objects, I hope this wotn be edited as i dont think it is an illegal thing to sya based on te hforum rules. I prompt you once more keeping hwat i just said in mind, to experiment on how to do such effetcs, although the handling may not be correct. I hope all m ysuggestions have helped.

if you need any help i would be able to offer you some if u PM me nad will tell u tricks to do with both gimmmicks wf you would like to go in depth.

If I may add a suggest, particularly as buying a book seems out of the question at the moment?

First, look at the reference mateiral that you already have. If it appears too complex then one of the best ways is to break the instructions doen into smaller parts. Write them out it necessary.

Then, study each part carefully and ask for advice on the terms, or any other bits that you are not sure about. Learning properly is also about patience.
