viper or Black Tiger

Postby sauruman » Apr 15th, '06, 15:20

I didn't think that there was much difference between handling in cards but when i started using a bicycle rider deck all of a sudden i could handle them a lot more comfortably, thats why i have decided to get one of the reverse image decks. So does the viper or the black tiger handle better.

I really don't think that there is that much difference and it's maily down to personal choice.

My choice is for the Tigers, white pipped. although I've used and have Vipers aswell.

I would say Viper because its the only Tally-Ho deck thats different. Whereas Bicycle is now making all these different colored back cards: Green, Blue, etc... They killed the whole Black Tiger thing

I have both tigers and Tally Ho Vipers.

First the Tigers. I found these cards really nice, especcialy when doing XCM,they feel a lot different to normal bicycles (Red and Blue back). There is only one downside to these cards when peforming which a lot of people have commented on when I have been doing tricks to people, that they say that the cards are gimmicked or `cheat cards`. Does anyone have this problem?

Now the Vipers. I really enjoy handling these cards, they have a crisp feel to them, good for XCM`s as well. Plus another good thing with Vipers is that there are good for performing with. Ive only had the odd one or two people comment on there design and being gimmicked.

If I had a choice between the two, I would choose the Vipers. :D

I've heard a lot of people sat this about tigers but have NEVER had this problem. Sure, people say that they look different, strange, noce and all sorts of things but you can hend them out for inspection without any issues.

People always seem to relax when they've handled the deck and given them a shuffle.

Thanks for the advice. I've found one auction selling both vipers and black tigers in a lot so i think i'll get them both. But there's one more deck i was wondering about. Is the XTC deck any good. Ellusionist.com says it's good for practicing, what exactly is different in it's feel?

There's a whole thread on this.

Apparently it's just a deck of cards with rf on. Making it practically impossible to use for any kind of XCM

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism
