Coin tricks:

Learn the messiah vanish
OR
Get the coin you can take a bite out of. (I cant rememebr the name sorry!)

Card Tricks:

Learn a good trick from RRTCM, or maybe Jokers Wild which is available from Penguin Magic
Packet trick wise... NFW is pretty nifty

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

If you have 10 card tricks and only 2 coin tricks then I'd suggest that you invest in another coin trick. People like variety and the more variety that you can give them, the better in my opion.

coin in can

Postby archimage » Apr 16th, '06, 13:31

I think the best coin impromptu trick out there is Sinful's Coin in Soda Can. Takes no set up and is easy to learn. There is plenty of info on this trick in the review section.

Why not get Bobo's? It includes sleights and tricks. Very nifty to have with you.

Thanks,

When I was in high school we were not allowed to use cards. But then my buddy had an idea so we went to talk to the principal and asked if it was okay if we used card to perform magic in school during free periods. After we gave him a short demo we were allowed to use cards until graduation.

If you don't want to do that stick to coins.

Try Coin Unique if you haven't already got it
Try and get the Eddie Gibson version too - there's a few different versions out there, some ok, some not so ok

The amount of tricks you can do with is only limited by your imagination.

It might seem a lil' steep at £25 ish but it's well worth the money in my opinion 8)

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Definately Bobo's and coin unique.

Also consider Scotch & Soda as well as hopping halves

i use my ambitious card routine when im at school. People go crazy when i perform it and i easily get crowds. However you do need 2 practice the routine to get it good and you should be slightly skilled with a deck of cards. However ellusionist.com have a great ambitious card routine DVD which i think is great if your pretty new to the game

Messiah vanish is great and best of all you don't need to buy anything.
