A Card Trick called PERFECT - Can someone advise?

Postby goinggoinggone » Apr 17th, '06, 20:50

Im just in the process of ordering a number of magic items from JBTV and there is one I would like some info on, if possible! The trick is called PERFECT and involves a deck of cards, one is slid out face down. Then cards are dealt face down until spec calls stop. the tabled card and stopped card are pairs e.g. 2 diamonds, 2 hearts.
Looks good, but just wanna ask someone who owns this, does it use a rough & smooth principle, I hate fake decks, but no mention is made of a special deck? Having purchased from JBTV many times (whose video demos are very good) they sometimes state, No sleights, No force whatso ever, only for me to discover when ive bought the trick that it does indeed require a card forced and some card handling!
Before I purchase this PERFECT trick can someone clue me in without giving away the secret, does it contain a fake deck, kinda rough smooth type!
thanks

Dont get it. I got it and its a huge gimmick for such a simple trick and its farelly expensive too. Why do this when you can just force the card. Its still not a trick where you can fan the cards and have them pick any card. And also when done to someone you cant show them again because its always the same card. I cant tell you much more about this trick, but the safest thing to do would be just save your money or spend it on some other trick. Some people might like this trick but I sure didnt.
