But how many are really active?

How many posts do we have a week, divided on different users?

Such is the nature of a forum that 'active' does not necessarily mean 'posting'.

I consider myself an 'active' member, but when I've got nothing to say, I just read and move on. It's perfectly natural.

Ergo, the memberlist may have a lot of legacy members, but it's difficult to ascertain what is active, and what is not—in terms of contributions, I think is the point you are making.

Well, I am just curious. I am not sure what kind of addons you have installed on this phpBB setup, but there are possibilities to get alot of statistics out of this. Do we have any stats on

- users logged on pr day/week
- posts pr day/week
- anonymous users pr day/week

It would be nice to know... for the curiosity...

I'm at the computer all day most days (sad, innit), so I dip into a lot of forums at regular intervals. At the moment, it feels as if we're geting more traffic than the Bunny, but that's just my perception. If it is true, though, it's nice to see that it's also better quality than they get. Even the psychic flame wars are pretty interesting!

Do we have any stats

Nort as far as I can see - following the changes to TM earlier this year after hacker attention, a lot of the data on members and activity has been removed for safety.
