I kinda like Queens Out Of Control, but not everybody feels the same.

If my memory comes back to me, i'll tell you some more, but right now its not cooperating

I love Queens out of Control! One of my favorites.

The latest packet trick I've been working on, is Alex Elmsley's Dazzle. It's a knuckle buster - but it's extremely powerful.

A few more:

Tonte Jr.
Call of the Wild is a nice effect - a nice gambling motif

Color Monte is always a good choice

Sankeys' Compact Compass (a variation of Color Monte) is another good one

The Capitulating Cards is a great effect, but I don't know if it's still marketed under that name.

Daryl's Cardboard Chameleons is a good effect.

Daryl's Presto Printo is another great choice.

There are so many, it's hard to remember them!

There are a lot of packet tricks that are very good. My all time favourite is colour monte, performed with ordinary playing cards but I also quite like the 'in the hands' version of Wild Card that I do and Mutanz is pretty good as well.

I agree with Demitri. Dazzle is spectacular.

You need lots of different cards with different backs though.

Hi Bob,

What level are you at with you magic?

I am classed as AH = Amateur Hobbyist, I am not very good with slight of hand techniques yet, but I am learning new moves daily with the Royal Road to Card Magic. However I can perform several card trick quite well but I find some of the packet tricks do require good slight of hand. (someone correct me if I am wrong)

I like Blizzard as a packet trick

I made my wife dissapear just by arguing with her!!!

The colour monte is good or - more up-to-date, lets you go to town on the presentation and requires no sleights at all - Jay Sankey's Astral Projection (www.sankeymagic.com - can't give a direct link as it's a Flash site).

Leighton

I am somewhere in between AH and SH. I am 14 years old and have been learning magic for around 2 years.

Ah, that type of info is very usefull to others when recomending tricks for you, sometimes it is a good idea to put it in your profile signature.

Packet tricks are great, but learning tricks with standard cards will last a lifetime in my opinion.
