So many topics locked in one day will we all just ever get on and all be friends or is this not really possible?

There will always be rivallry (spelling?), misunderstandings and arguments. This is mainly because people have their own views on something and unless you're utterly wrong, you usually stick to it. Thus contrasting views.

But even just discussing something, it because an argument because the person gets tired to constantly trying to put out the same point whom they believe is correct where the other does the same to their view. So of course, there is friction.

To keep the forum clean and not too riot like, the mods are closing the topics and removing the text. Right or wrong for what was in the post, we jsut don't want this sort of matter.

When a discussion is open for people to discuss and put forth their views, fine, they can, as long as it is controlled. But just posting a topic irrationally, can't have that.

Anyways, I really do hope with whatever problems there are, they get sorted out soon or just be forgotten all together.

What colour is it? Could mean something special other than just everyone's anger being released... End of the world!? *GASP!*

Oh that...

Happened to me about two weeks after joining this forum too, I just put it down to the late nights...

Funnily enough there's a post in the restricted area about how to use the tail to improve your elmsley count...

Do you think that little smiley above is an emoticon?
It's actually my passport photo...

To be honest I try not to get involved in the arguments as i do not want to cause problems i am just here to learn magic and gain some knowledge about it and talk to other people who have the same interest as me

restricted topics

I can respect when the moderators lock topics, due to experience they have in knowing what will likely be a topic that causes more negatives than the positives.

As a poster, the best I can do is put forth topics that I know will have differing points of view and hopefully stimulate good discussion as well as learning something myself. Some of those topics are too hot and therfore should be locked. My last post regarding magic vs religion was not a good choice, and looking back, I should have known better. Religion and beliefs for the most part can only be discussed in a very focused and controlled manner, or people really get heated.

I look forward to logging in not only to get the "ground truth" on the latest product reviews, but to get sincere discussion on more subtle perspectives that we all deal with in our own ways.
