I have been thrown out of many magic clubs. I consider this to be a testimonial to my charm and winsome ways.

I am not sure where I lived in the UK since my work caused me to travel around quite a bit. I must have worked in virtually every city in the UK. Blackpool was my main base for a very large part of my time I suppose.

I also lived in London and Dublin.

As for your visit to Canada I expect I will be deported well before then.

LOL. I've always been a good boy...I know a few of the guys at Blackpool Magic club very well. I will pass on your regards, but tthen again maybe not. lol

How about Tom Owen do you know him???? Or Granville Taylor???? Surprised you don’t know Derek though. He's been there some time but also he was one of the UK's leading magic promoter and agent. i assume you never did club work here in the UK then.

Ali Bongo couldn’t place you at all and non of the old bunch at the Blackpool magic club knew you. so maybe you didn’t leave the right impression. I'll be popping over to Paul’s (Daniels) late May so let’s see if he remembers you.

I can't believe Ali Bongo doesn't know me. He must be going senile. I have known him for about 45 years. He knew me under a different name but he must know who Mark Lewis is. Try again and ask him who Ronnie McLeod is. If that doesn't do it then nothing will. I worked with him in Hamleys for a very long time day in and day out. He once remarked to a magician who asked if I worked for him (he was the boss) and he replied
"No. I worked with him for a very short time. And it felt like a very long time"

I certainly know Tom Owen. And I know John Hardman who I think is still there. I do not know Derek Lever but I have heard all sorts of horrific stories about him which I don't believe for one minute. I suppose once you are an agent always an agent. You are seen as the devil incarnate.

I am quite sure that Paul Daniels will remember me. I used to tell laymen that he knew me. They were amused by this and said "typical of you to say that he knew YOU rather than you knew HIM!"
