Hi, did a lot of magic as a kid. Getting back into it now as a hobby. I found this but can't remember what the trick is. Any ideas?[/img]

Perhaps some sort of sword through coin thing? Wouldn't know how it works but I'm guessing the hole is important.

its a boston box.. or okito box (always get the 2 mixed up)

I think it was a match through coin thing, but there's no gimmick. I just can't remember how to do it :)

Looks to me like a salt shaker :? Hmm, maybe the coin needs to be tilted to the side in order to penetrate it.

no, this is complete. Having looked online a bit more, I think it's a sort of Okito box with a hole in to allow match to "penetrate" coin. Must be about 30 years old!

30 years. wow! When they say the old props last, they really mean it! I bet it still works perfectly as well! Probably better than some of those you can get today!
