Hehe.. it's best not to ask! Just forget about it, and it will happen.

Hi Mini,

There are several threads about the restricted area, the best thing to do is really just chill about it (hence the zen line) and when the mods think you are ready they will invite you. Asking probably isn't the best way to go about it. I don't think anyone is trying to make fun of you, it's a bit like when someone asks you to tell them how a tricks done, you just think of different ways to answer them.

Hope that helps

mini me.... sorry wrong person. :P
mr freak, entry is solely dependent on a group modorators descision and is not based on the quantity of posts there is definatly no minimum amount of post you ned before your considered, i refer to thoughs spirited people who post welcome to the board to the first 50 newbies they see, you know who you are.

quality of posts is a major deciding factor as is general character, insane people like me can get in so mental illness need not be a barrier.

the secret areas are like the potion's classes at hogwarts, far less interesting when you get in than guessing what they are brewing up.

we don't disclose how the latest effect is done or even expose anyones hard earnt routines however we do discuss our own routines and additions or alternative ideas for a said effect.

Mu

What does it mean? It refers to a famous Zen koan or teaching riddle. When asked a foolish question, the Zen sage Joshu answered 'mu!', which means 'no!'. We usually translate this, rather clumsily, as 'unask the question', which is what the sage meant. How do you unask a question? Think about it. Keep thinking about it...

Getting into the MO (magicians only) area is a matter of time. If you stick around the forum for a few months and make good posts, you will get in. Apart from that, just have patience. MagicBunny is a lot worse, you have to write a several-paragraph application to get in !

Wow... And application just to get in... No thanks. I've had enough of that rubbish...

Anyways, people really need to read the rules and notices... I can't remember where I read about this from but meh... At least I know not to ask. :P

I think someone else asked how to get in not to long ago also...

Thus... This is another one of those 'can't be bothered using search so I'll post' situations.

It's worse than that, I'm afraid. If you go to the very first page of TM, you will see that the top section of the restricted access TELLS you how access is given. You don't need to search, just open your eyes! I quote...

Access to the restricted area will be granted to members who have shown a basic knowledge of magic together with quality contributions (reviews are a good example). Currently granted by moderators of the site. Please feel free to discuss this within this section (membership not required!).

Does it get any easier? Hehe..
