You rubbed for a little too long. Other than that, nicely done.

Thanks,

Very nice Foz. Am I right in saying that this is pure sleight of hand? (No setup, no gimmicks, completely impromptu?)

Nicely done indeed. I agree with Dominick though. Rubbed just a little too long. Proving that the table is solid also took a little long. But that's just me. :)

Nice.

Looks a lot like Cesaeral Melting point, or the Liquid Silica effect from Get Fluxed: Special Edition

But yes, your 'proving' of both solidity of table and the rub are far too drawn out. Retention of vision should be swift on this: the gap between seeing the coin above, then below the glass should be a very short one for the illusion to be more impressive.

The signed coin convincer is sweet.

Yes I thought it looked like Melting Point as well.

I am not sure what methods are used for these other versions....but i am sure it is a similar idea ....

I saw Cesaeral Melting point and thought thats cool ...but 45 quid lot of money....
So i worked on my own method.......
First i looked at what needed to be done....
" make coin go thru glass table"

And came up with what you see.

Hmm, you gonna keep the trick to yourself or sell it off?

I`m not sure how i would sell such an idea.....but one thing i know is it would be reasonably priced..

I am working on a few other trick ideas aswell....soon to be uploaded when i finish making the various bits and bobs....

I`m not a proffesional magician so don`t feel i am an authoirity in magic........which i believe you should be in order to start selling tricks.

Maybe if i was to expand on this and other ideas ....i might be able to do a DVD ....

I wont run before i can walk though.....
