help securing IT?

I've been practicing the floating card. Now I'm using real IT and wax. But I'm having problems securing it. The wax won't stick to my arm, and while it sticks to my sleeve, it doesn't stick strongly and comes off quickly :(

it al depends on your skin wether it will stick or not, for that I just use tape instead.

Have you used tape behind the ear? And whilst your doing otehr stuff, put a tiny ball of wax at the other end and fix it to a button on your shirt or something like that, then just before the effect you can play with your buyyon (taking the wax off) and put it on your thumb and then your ready.

Being a glasses wearer, I make a loop of selotape but with a piece of selotape doubled over and stuck to itself, so I end up with like a little 'tube of selotape, with the IT stuck inside, I can then take off my glasses, slide this 'tube' onto one of the ear loops of the glasses, the other end of the IT with the wax can then be placed wherever convenient. Glasses wearers have it lucky in that area as you can make up a few lengths, prepared and stored with the selotape tube on one end and the wax at the other.

Perhaps it would be usefull for those who use IT on a regular basis to have a pair of glasses made up with plain glass in them.

Have you tried loops? Nothingupmysleeve.com sell instructions to make the STElTh Jig, which tell you how to make them.
