3 Envelopes are shown to a spectator. Each one has a different series of 99 playing cards printed on it. The spectator chooses an envelope (no force), and is now instructed to create a random number. The spectator is asked to remember the card at the chosen number. They open the envelope and inside is one card - this matches their selection!

Predictalopes is brand new, and so clean and easy. It is totally self-working and the spectator does all the work. At no time do you handle the envelopes during performance, and everything can be examined afterwards.

This is a great little effect to carry round with you, so you can perform magic at a moments notice.

Predictalopes (a mentalism trick despite it sounding like an African herd animal) is 100% self working and allows the budding mentalism performer to work on presentation.

You get 3 (end opening) letter sized envelopes with cards and numbers printed on the fronts of each. These are packed in a plastic sleeve along with clear instructions printed on the back of the cover insert...perfect. You will need to provide the prediction cards.

The effect plays very well and the method can be wrapped up in a suitably baffling series of misleading statements to amaze the spectator.

It is best as a one on one effect and it isn't the best idea to repeat it (as per the instructions) although if you limit a basic choice you can repeat with total confidence.

Overall:

This is a fairly basic effect that uses a reasonably well known (to mentalists that is) technique. It is a bit of a one trick pony and should only be done for one person at a time.

Having said that it is a tidy effect that is pretty darned impressive for what it is! I have GREAT fun performing it and it is IDEAL for someone who wants a super-easy mentalism effect for close up or for a performer new to mentalism who wants a sure fire effect.

Finally the price is so good you really can't complain.

Rating: I am going to give this a 9.5/10 because it does exactly what it claims and is such a good bargain. It isn't a show stopper but it is strong and leaves you room to hone your presentation skills at the same time...sweeeet.
