Hi Mistress of Magic. Thanks for the welcome. What got you started in magic?
What sort of tricks do you get up to? I used to do a couple of weeks in the clubs in Glasgow and Scotland on a regular basis in the 60's. I have fond memories of Musselborough Miners welfare Sunday lunch shows. How long ago is that? and now go quite often to St Andrews or Gleneagles for corporate functions.
It's nice to see a Mistress in Magic.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

No doubt you're familiar with the place? I will ask as I always buy my rope in there  I don't suppose that you're connected with HoM in any way?

Are you named after the life size wizard in the doorway?

heh, heh, heh... my audience's wish it was silent manips!!! Silence would probably be preferable to me blathering on... :D

I do close up (strolling and table), compering, clowning and escapes. Currently I am also studying some mentalism, in the hope of becoming cool..

Hi Flashy, I wonder why I thought you did silent manips. They say a picture paints a thousand words or something like that. Your picture is great but do you think the message it sends is the correct one. Have you ever persuaded a friend to ask people to look at your publicity material and ask what they think you do. If they think magician then what sort? :)

I'm trying to decide if it will be Monday afternoon at about 3.30pm (on the way to Wolverhampton where I'm staying), on on Wednesday afternoon on the way back home, at around 2pm.

I'll let you know later in the week.

It was a magician with his dynamic coins in Hamleys that first got me interested. I could NOT fathom out where those damn coins went.
I'm mostly into close up stuff, but over the past year I've not seemed to have much time for magic due to school/work.
Anyhow, welcome to the forum!

Hi Pyro Smurf
It's been 42 years since I first went to Sweden. I was doing an explorer belt badge in the scouts and had to hike for around 120 miles through Sweden finishing I think in Norkoping. We then went on to stay in Stockholm. Happy days. I was doing magic then and entertained our hosts. Since then I've stopped of in Stockholm a couple of times on cruise ships.
Thanks for the welcome.
Keep the magic going.
