I joined a magic forum called 'steves magic' yesterday and i didnt put a post on coz i had loads of coursework to do. Any how i recived an email tonight saying he was angry with me coz i hadnt put a post on.
Now i know in my signature piece it says that magic is very serious but school work has to come first. Im sure everybody on this forum agrees with me and wouldnt bite my head off if i didnt make a post one day

Please give me your feelings on this matter

Email him and say you're from the internet.... forum.... whatever....make something up, and that you have recieved a complaint from (add your name here). Tell them if they recieve one more complaint you have the power to axe their forum!!!

No need to lie, or even worry.

It's their loss - just go back, edit your profile to remove traces of identity, and don't go back.

Ignore the emails - people get bored quickly when they don't get a response.

The fact that it sounds like they NEED members SO BAD is the ammunition you have - they need YOU more than you need THEM.

Im not worried about it, i just can stand people that have no consideration for others, i think its just childish and pathetic. I can fight my own battles but knowing that there are some creeps on the internet, the owner of steves magic forum could be amiddle aged, unloved p**ck

I also had an invitation from Steve. He must be bl**dy desperate if he wants me!

It's a shame that other forums (sorry, fora!) have to poach members - if that forum is any good it'll develop like this one has over a period of time and will have a unique style and content. You can't buy that sort of thing. Unless it works like the transfer market in football in which case I'm available for the right kind of money!!
