when i say "dont drop them..."

my point is simply that sourcing out one or a few cards is very different to re orientating an entire deck! i am a little "tongue in cheek" here... the key thing is the stripper deck i bought from Neil Lester is so well done with the gimmick at both sides of one end (and therefore very "minute") means that it still looks very normal. even when a spectator studies the backs of the cards, you really dont need to be concerned because the white boarder around Bicycle decks is still quite parallel.

sure when using a stripper deck it is not common to show off the backs, however i like to roll from different kind of trick to trick and this stripper deck allows you to do various slights that require a normal deck, and have the spectator freely scrutinise the deck. then roll into a routine that requires a stripper deck... no deck switch required.

I'm not sure if I've missed the point here but it's not really that different to re-orient a deck. My triumph effect is based purely on stripping the unequal cards in the deck with one cut. I don't think this looks suspicious and neither do any of the lay people I've shown it to.
