Hello, my name is Mandy (wp:29) I work as a magicians assistant in Utah, With The Magic Of Timothy. I have been doing magic with Him for 6 years now. www.magicoftimothy.com.
Recently he has decided to add a straight jacket act to our shows. He asked me to help him come up with a routine for the show. I have no idea what to tell him to do. Dancing with just your legs to "I'm to sexy" isn't the easiest thing to do. I would love any suggestions for this if you have any. thanks for any help.

With regards to the escipology, have a look for the name Dixie Dooley, he's about as good as escapology gets... now, when you talk about interesting things to do with a stright jacket, my first thougts are that you should;

1. Be Upside down,

2. REEEALY high up off the floor!

3. Blind folded

4. On Fire!

5. No Safety Net!

6. In a hurricane!

that would make for a truley excelent show!

Seriously though, dont try that, i dont want to be responsible for the envitable death of another magician.

But Dixie Dooley is definatly the man too look up.

Is it a regular straight jacket or a gaffed one?
Are you able to use members of the audience to participate?
Will it be just you assisting. Will you be strapping him in or is he going to strap you in?

well, I am not sure what kind of jacket it is, I will have to get back to you on that. I do know that he plans on having a audience member come up and strap him in. [Which I think is brave] then he starts the music,"I'm to sexy" and there is where the problem starts. The Magican is amazing and does the trick really well. It is just the filler that we need I guess.
