hey all , i created a quick Gif avatar on some free thing with like 20 uses, the only problem is the file size is too damn big! I have taken the one below and put it on some free site thing to make the file size smaller and have got it from 70kb to 12.8kb but i am only aloud 8kb for the picture on this forum! I have literally spent 2 HOURS trying to reduce this size. The quality will be really poor compared to the one below but i just want to use it on this forum, please help somebody!

I tried to use photoshop to resize but I'm not good with it at all. I do stil lwant it as a gif, that's what i couldn't do.

I do a lil digital art among other things ( jack of all trades lol ) so I should be able to resize it and keep it as a gif animation

ok ive got it down to 7.something kb, only thing is its tiny.... so prob wont be much use, i use photoshop usually but obviously had to use imageready for this, so im not sure how to reduce the quality without reducing the size, there will be a way, just I dont know it

Ohhh it is a hard task, I tried for about 20 minutes and had tio go to bed so here is my effort:

It is a bit smother but still too big.

Actually i originally had it like that Leighton but i thought that if i had it still for a few seconds and someone looked at it they'd think it's a normal picture, then all of a sudden it takes its face off

meh, i dunno what to do

made a greyscale version but the quality is extremely bad and that is still 11.1kb

yeah you can still leave the frame with your name on it, but I would recomend removing the middle black face frame

i don't think it's going to happen though, closest i got was 10 and i couldn't go further.

Yeah I played with the colors more but it looks worse when I altered it. The best were those.

I think it rests on the plain picture too long. I haven't made GIFs in years though so that might do nothing to the size... just thinking if you cut down on how long it holds on Delude then you might be able to get it to less than 8...
