When learning the pass I think there are 5 things to do:
1) Read/watch the explanation lots and make sure you know every sentance the pass is often about something small you are doing wrong.
2) Just watch some good passes so you know what you are aiming for (make sure it is the same pass).
3) Practice a lot - it's not too hard but 5 mins practice a day won't do it practice in blocks of at least 25 mins (I would say)
4) Hold the cards a loosly as possible.
5) Keep it as flowing as possible don't do any move separate.
(that's the classic pass ehich I think you mean I think your main problem is 4 and possibley 5)
