I have to agree with Tony, Loops are a brilliant system.
The hook-up is much easier, the EIT (to coin an abbreviation) seems stronger, and the finishing up is almost totally clean.
I use a bit of both, although I'm pretty adverse to 'levitation' effects, I tend to use Loops for rising cards, ghost deck cuts, quick and simple floats, and the world famous Floating Lemon routine.
I've ordered the 'T.I.E.S' loop-making system from the States, and I'm hoping it lives up to expectations.
My favourite ITR, which is ideal for UFO and quick rising effects has to be my mini-motorised model. It cost a fortune, but it's lovely.
So nice, in fact, I can hardly bring myself to use it. It's absolutely great, and in honesty, I've used it more for vanishes that PK-type or levitation effects.
Back to (the) thread... the UFO type effects are NOT so easy to perform.
The hardest part of the whole thing seems to be where the card spins around the body. That's probably the biggest waste of IT.
