I have just had an email of the people at TVMagic advertising an ebook called 'England Up Close' compiled by peter Duffie.
It looks pretty good value for money.
Has anyone purchased this yet. If so, is it any good?

Been looking at this myself. It seems very good value for money. I just dont really like the idea of e-books though. I would much rather spend £35+ to get a copy in a proper book. If you look at the list of contributors though, it is very strong.

I purchased it, and have been going through it off and on for a few weeks. Once I get through the rest of it, i'll do a review of it.

I also have Scotland Up Close - so I'll get a review of that up, as well.

I can somewhat see where you're coming from, regarding ebooks. They don't look as good - but there are some greats values out there. Not to mention it really satisfies the 3am, I want to learn a new magic trick NOW urges I tend to get!

How long does it take from paying on line till you get the download pdf then Demitri?

That probably depends on the place you purchase it from. My own personal experience - I got my download instructions minutes after placing the order.
