Sin Bin

Whoever thought of putting the worst of the locked topics in one area, I can only say Brilliant.

You can't answer them, so there is no way you can be drawn into the arguments.

Instead you can read them with a laugh, or just a "tut tut" and a shake of the head.

One thing it doesn't do though. Some of the people that caused the problem in the first place, will start another thread to carry the argument on.

This is then put in the Sin Bin, etc, etc.

If people are being constantly put in there, should there be a certain number of posts, before it is an automatic ban?

Normal rules for banning would still apply, but if people are constantly having their posts put in there, surely they must be causing too many problems both on the boards, and for the Mods?

Say I made several posts, all asking for illegal downloads. The Mods warn me, then lock and Sin Bin the threads. It would be obvious by this time that I have no regards for the rules of the Forum, so a ban should be put in place.

Just my opinion, but wondered if it would take some pressure of the Mods.

I think its a good idea. It gets the people that just want to figure out the secrets of magic to leave the forums because no one will answer their questions. I have read some of messeges and i get a kick at some of them they are quite dumb. But I think it will make a lot of stress on the mods. But I would do it. I hate people who just want to figure out everything.
