Blaine's Tooth Extraction

Good effect-this is a nice variation on the coin bite illusion. The appliance has to be custom right? I never saw one for sale (yet) but I imagine it's coming soon.

No, it is not coming soon. You will NEVER see this for sale. This was created by my best friend Tim Moore here in ohio. One time deal! great effect! And a little more complex (a lot actually) than a quarter bite.

That was the phoneyist trick on the show.

sorrry about my thought on the trick. To me that trick looked like c*** (not the best). I think any laymen magician could have a decent idea of how it is done.

I think the biggest problem with the effect was the womans' reaction to it. She has to play it up a bit more. It's meant to look like a stranger just had her teeth yanked out. I would imagine a normal person would be just a little pi**ed off (and in an assload of pain). She just didn't sell it.

I'd be up for performing this with Mr. Blaine. I have a nice variation in mind:

In order to make it realistic, I think I should be allowed to knee him in the groin, kick him while he's down - and then stand over him and say "Now put them back, magic man!"

Then he spits two of his own teeth (no force) out and instantly restores my canines.

Then with a nice "TA DA!" I take a bow and go back to the casino.

- Before anyone starts, no I'm not bashing David Blaine...
