Moral of the story, be careful of your ET.

I have decided never to do any tricks that involve ET or any other static. It's not that I have a problem with them, but that I was walking around town yesterday and my trousers kept on static charging me. Every time I touched my friends, doors etc I got a shock. Don't think I could take much more of that!

Well that was quite sad for that poor Aussie, but to be honest, the charge in these units is pretty small. Just make sure you not wearing a lot of nylon.

I try not to wear my stockings when Im using it.

The likelihood you you ever achieving this, even with ET is nigh on reaching impossible, although still more likely than Wales qualifying for a world cup place

These are freak incidents - just think how many millions of people are walking about each day and you then get one instance every so many years. It's now worth bothering about and obviously the BBC were hard up for news to print.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

That's BRILLIANT!!!

Sorry if that's a bit wrong but I just get images of this bloke in 70's nylon clothes sparking and melting stuff with his static disco mojo.

Burn baby burn, disco inferno, burn...

Actually i think its the first instance since nylon was invented or at least, tracksuits and woolie jumpers. What they hadnt noted in that story was the guys tendency to hang around telegraph poles and get struck by lightning...

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

Yeah, I should probably say that I was joking with the 'be careful of your ET' thing there. This obviously wouldn't happen with one of those

Lol, love it Mandrake. Keep em
