Here is my attempt

http://www.kanastacorp.com/magic/tens.avi

TM will *&@# up the link as usual for media files, so copy and paste it in the window.

The sound is awful, I don't know how to fix it. It started with a whine all thru, and with my limited VirtualDub skills I lowpassed it away, and my voice went funny too

It's a bit long so I had to compress it more than I would like. And it's oh so durn hard to find a place where the camera can sit...

Didn't sound too bad to me... infact, well done on the whole thing!

Some things that I noticed which a spectator wouldn't pick up on but we beady-eyed little magicians do:
  • Your bottom spread of the 10s was a little slow and unnatural. Also, I wouldn't show the faces of the 10s, or only just flash them. You just showed them so it seems to make it a bit too obvious.
  • A lot of people do a turnover from the inside corner of the deck. If you want to that's fine but it's always looked very stilted to me - I would never turn over a card like that. Still, it should be fine as long as you are consistent with it.
  • Not sure the first phase of the routine is all that good. I mean, I would never remember that one ten was on the left and the other was on the right. You might want to engineer the effect so that isn't necessary.

Thanks for the comments. I have trouble with all spreads from biddle -eg hamman counts. I don't know if it's just me, 50% of the time moving one card shifts the next as well. I've tried holding harder/softer, nothing is reliable yet. Any tips for that?

The 1st bottom spread is kinda hard cuz it's so wide too...

The first phase - you don't need to remember, you just call them as they are. Or did you mean the specs can't remember? In which case the time delay does make it hard...

Yes, I meant the specs can't remember . I should make myself clearer :).

Do you have a good pack of Bikes? It should be fairly easy to spread two cards without revealing the double if the cards are slippery enough. The troubles come if you are using a worse pack because the cards will be quite sticky.

well my bikes are a couple weeks old... aww are they bad already?
they feel fine, not crisp but they fan etc
I'm going thru these much faster than I expected.

specs... are going to be a problem because of the time... I wonder if I can work a color switch into it...

The handling is a little awkward and you flashed at the start when you first spread the cards. Other than that, everything else was good.
