I'm new to the boards and new to non card magic (you can check out a full description in the intros section if you care to). I recently ordered a micro 5 because I'm interested in seeing what can be done. However, as far as performance goes, I'm not looking to pretend at mental effects. I'd rather use the kit with a more scientific performance. All i've come up with so far is moving light objects by claiming that I've learned to use the air circulating in the room to move very light objects (i'll make a show of shaping my hands and blowing air around them to test the aerodynamics). My audience of friends and co-workers are mainly science minded people and the mentalism just won't fly. Any tips on performance that aren't kooky but are still impressive. If you dont' want to talk about them on the forum (I know this stuff is often sensitive), I'd be glad to have a PM. I'm also willing to prove I've actually paid for an M5 if anyone is hesitant.
