The Effect
Three different predictions are twritten on a pad of paper and given to three spectators. The deck is shuffled and cut in two halfs.
A spectator cuts a portion from one half and turns it face up, and shuffles with the other face down half. This creates a half up / half down set of cards. The spectator then cuts any amount of cards from this set and turns it over and shuffles with the remainder of the deck which up till now has been face up, untouched on the table. Next the spectator cuts a portion from the assembled pack and turns it over and shuffles it in with rest of the pack. This cutting and shuffling process continues till the spectator feels he has mixed them up enouth.
The pirset prediction is read and says "there will be 23 face down cars". The spectator counts the face down cardsand finds 23!
The second prediction is read and it says "there will be 15 red cards". From the 23 card pack the spectator finds the red cards, counts and finds 15!
The red cards are put to one side
Third prediction reads "all the cards are clubs. The spectator look only to find they are all clubs except one which is the six of spades.
Aparently a mistake has been made but as his picks up the pad of paper to go on the back of the pack is the writing "except the 6 of clubs" (or you could stick a jumbo card on the back of the pad of paper and write acress it "except the..."
Cost
Not sure was given to me by a magician I once met in a restaurant several times.
Difficulty
1 to 2 - easy if you have a good memory
Review
I like this trick as you can use any pack of cards, no gimmick cards. No slight of hand ust a small amount of set up. All cards can be examined and shuffled by the spectator through out the performance of the trick. Very clean trick which amazed me when I first saw it.
Overall
8 out of 10
I wish if it was his own creations or a marketed trick
Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.
