Hi, i thought i'd join the boards because i fancy getting back into the magic world again after a couple of years away from it. I lost interest because i was one of those 'practice in the bedroom and never show anyone' types. I used buy magic, practice and perfect it and then it would go straight in the draw never to see the light of day.....then i'd buy something else. That, and my bank account stedily going down was the reason i quit. I also suffer from terrible nerves, sweaty palms and all that, and i could never perform in front of anyone. I did once do walkaround close-up magic at a party with a couple of others from my local club, and to be honest... it was a day i'd rather forget. So... I'm hoping to build up loads of confidence and get back out there and perfect and re-practice what i already have. Sorry for my depressing waffling. You probably wonder why i've bothered wanting to get back into it. You might have a point.
