My name is Mike Skut and I am a plumber.

No, a magician. Sorry.

I create effects for other magicians. Once I created an effect for a cow, but that was way weird. Very cool, but very weird.

Anywho, I am located in the States in a little city called Elyria, Ohio. My best friend in the whole wide world is Jay Sankey and I work with him. I owe so much to this man, it's unreal. I am a creative consultant for Sankey Magic and we recently released a DVD called "The Sankey/Skutt Sessions". (See Pitto's review for the skinny).

I am totally in love with England and I am estatic that Jay and I will be in Blackpool February 2007. I hope everyone finds me and comes up to say hi. In case you need to know what my ugly mug looks like: www.planetskutt.com.

I wish everyone the best of luck in magic and I hope to be tipping my hat to a few of the weird things I've been playing with very soon.

Stay Tuned!

Mike Skutt

Dear Magicmonkey,

You need not fret...I would of chosen "Anytime, Anywhere" myself! Sankey is the man and I give him all of the credit in the world. We're going to blow the roof off of Blackpool. Keep your eyes peeled for the short bald guy with glasses (Jay) and the tall Albino behind him (me).

I hope they let me in your country with 97 sponge balls and an ID (try explaining that to security).

I hope to post a video for you guys as soon as I get caught up with my work.

In the meantime...[/quote]

Creative Essay Contest

Postby mike skutt » Jun 11th, '06, 13:52

Hi all,

Just a quick note: I'm sponsering an essay contest (check under the "EVENTS" section) where some lucky person will win a copy of "The Sankey/Skutt Sessions".

Be sure to check out the details and be creative!

My whole goal is to get everyone to stretch themselves in hopes that it opens up a flood of creative magic. Is the world ready for it? Who knows?

Best of luck,

Mike Skutt

Hello Mr. Skutt!

Great to see your here at TalkMagic! I love the Sankey-Skutt Sessions. Coin Up The Nose is ingenious! I have fooled many with it, as well as the Siamese Change, which always kills! Your style of humor is very refreshing and I quite enjoy it. I have also created some stuff, and would love a review from you. Please PM me and I can send you my manuscripts. Thank you!

Regards,

Michael Kras
