I sit here late at night and several people end up on the forums....

Yet none of them post :D

Why is this? lol

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Ah right... so the TalkMagic forums die after a certain hour? lol

I often find myself reading through posts finding nothing to reply to :(

If like tonight however, I've been drinking, I'll start up random threads like this :D

Which does at least answer some of my "I'm too sober and british to possibly ask that question!" questions...

I must admit I went off to watch Spaced Series 2 last night and didn't look in after about midnight, but it looks like I'm pulling an all-nighter tonight.

Spaced! One of the best comedies IMHO, and I'm rather glad it's remained something of a cult show.

I think that there should be some strange kind of happening on TM at a certain un-Godly time, like if you're on at 2:38 and 54 seconds AM then a picture of Mandrake, the real-life Mandrake that is, pops up, and reveals his corporial form to but a few.

Or, a little party or something happens.

let's just turn this into a spaced appreciation thread,
everyone's a winner!!

Tim: this is brian
Daisy: oh hi, do you rent downstairs?
Brian: do you mean am i gay?

i spent ages the other day explaining to someone why the scene with Dwayne saying "at last i shall have revenge" is so funny!

i could quote spaced all day!
"you know that they say about love and war..."

Ah! Spaced!!

Tyres: Right, mines a pint of the black stuff
Mike: You can't drink a pint of bovril...

God bless spaced :D
And don't worry Larry, I had to spend ages explaining why that Dwayne scene was funny to someone too!

I liked the bit where the courier stands at the pellican crossing repeatedly pressing the button and thinking that the angry drivers sounding their horns at him are actually vibing from the crossing's beep-beep-beep too!

Oh Heavens, I was literally on the floor at that bit! And then when they're in Tim and Dawn's flat and the he's doing it to the phone, and then the kettle goes and they quickly SNAP it off. So surreal, yet absolutely hilarious!

Brian: Do you think I should lose the waistcoat?
Tim: I think you should burn it. Cos... if you lose it, you might find it again

:D

I'm not worried about myself. Drinking Southern Comfort alone on a magic forum is perfectly socially acceptable in these parts

...then again so is marrying your sister. or your pet sheep...
