Hello everyone,

I know that people like to read the intros to get to know everyone that posts, and wether those people are serious about magic, as well as their skill/experience level etc...

So here's mine.

My name is Michael Paul, and I work as a full time performer out of Springfield MA USA. I work with Simon Lovell and Jamy Ian Swiss down at Monday Night Magic in NYC, where I am a regular performer. Most of my material is personal to me... or was until I started my lecture tour earlier this year.

The lecture is called Simply Devastating, and has been very well recieved. The first three runs of the notes have completely sold out, and the on-line response has been overwhelming... due in part to the fact that the notes are accompanied by a performance video and a special session with Simon Lovell, who comments on the routines. It's one of just two releases that I've come out with...

I'm still a young guy... sorta (27 years old), and my wife gave birth to our first child this year, so life is very exciting right now. Magic has taken a slieght back seat to changing diapers and singing my daughter to sleep.

Magic is a serious love of mine. I can't wait to share some of my oppinions with you guys.

Michael

Thank you for that very nice and interesting introduction, welcome to the forum. :D

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
