Good Evening Gadies and Lentlemen

Postby Tompko » Jun 1st, '06, 21:16

Hi,
I'm Tompko, from Stockton in the North East of England. I'm currently in Oxford studying hard for my third year exams in maths. I first started magic when I performed self-working and Marvin Magic type tricks from the ages of about 7 - 13. I recently revived my interest in it and begun by reading RRTCM. Before Kati reccomends it I've also got a copy of Born To Perform which I've been watching over and over whenever I have a spare moment. I'm not exclusively doing card magic but its definitely my favourite, although having watched Boris Pocus I'm starting to like mentalism effects too.

Despite having only been back into magic for a few months I am already deeply affllicted by CUPS and keep wanting to buy new decks and effects (mmmm Ghost Deck). Fortunately my student status keeps my spending under control, more magic means less beer :)

I've been reading the forum for a while and decided it was time to meet you all properly,

Tompko

Welcome mate. If you get a particularly nasty bout of CUPS I'd strongly reccomend Card College 1&2 for a begginer or if the CUPS is REALLY bad NUMS has the whole set for £109 (cheapest in the UK)

Take Care

Cheers,

Chris Pitt (AKA Pitto)

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
