What are they called?

Everybody Im sure knows what I am talking about. You can buy them single I think, Im not sure if they come in a deck. Anyway its a card where when you hold the lighter underneat or anytype of fire it changes the suit of the card.

I thought of a great routine for this trick, I just forget what they are called and where you would find them at.

If you mean a card that changed with heat is there really any point in having a gaff like that? You can get pretty much the same thing with a top change or a double...

Might be good for card transpositions or if you signed it, then their signed card would change, and their signature would now be on another card...

...that would be pretty cool.

Is this really a gaff or has someone been fooled by a bit of sleight of hand?

Well if it doesn't exist, I'm sure these things could easily be made.

K not to bragg here but I have been a magician for 8 years now. I didnt get fooled. I saw it in a book and then saw someone do it. Believe me I would know if it was a DL or anything like that. He took the card right infront of me and bruned it to a different card. Ususally a card with just get black and melt somewhat, this didnt. I mean it didnt look like a totally different new card. But it did change. If I remember correctly it was like the 7 of spades too the queen of clubs. But I see none of you guys know which aint bad because I dont know myself :( . Maybe they got discontinued.

The name of the video is cardicians dream, so i think this is what the name of the effect is. I found it on Dynamite magic, a Dutch magic shop. It says you get 3 special cards, but i don't know if they are different cards, or all the same suits. The cards are not printed with a bicycle back design. It kosts 12,50 euro, which is £ 8.59 (if the online currency converter works correctly ;) )

Hope this helps a bit.
At least you know they are not discontinued.

Oh, forgot to mention that when the card cools down, the original face of the card returns, so these cards can be used over and over again for a long time.

That is, until you hold the lighter too close and the card goes up in flames
