Will boiling them damage them or clean them?

Fell a bit stupid

If you need to clean coins then just soak them for a while in Coca Cola - excellent stuff for cleaning, rust removal etc! The guy on the Cillit Bang (Grrrr) TV Ad shows a copper coin being cleaned by dipping it in his product but it doesn't taste as good as the Real Thing!

You mean Barry Scott! The guy who is actually not famous in any way, but still says "I'm Barry Scott" as if it's supposed to mean something...

Cillit Bang. You know you want it.

Coke really is the best! Pepsi will work but more slowly and the 'own brands' sometimes don't work at all. Make sure you buy a large bottle of Coke plus an equally large bottle of Rum - very enjoyable!

That's him - famous in his own lunchtime. He'd do well to try lowering the pitch of his voice 'cos at times only our dog hears what he's saying!

I hope your not advocating underage drinking

BTW – a thought – would it be interesting to see how often Mandrake suggests alcohol as a solution/idea. I noticed that before

The cleansing qualities of soda is precisely the reason not drink the coke after the coin has been slammed into the bottom of the can! Found that out the hard way
