Free? No. There are a good number of books and DVDs that will teach you, though. I'm sure someone will be along in a moment to fill you in.

In the meantime, why not have a quick look at the forum guidelines then pop along to the introductions section and tell us something about yourself.

Royal Road To Card Magic Book and DVD box set covers this. Remember that a perfect faro takes a lot of practise and the cards should be in perfect condition.

An introduction would be nice, we are a friendly bunch here and like to know who we are talking to.

So does the Royal Road DVD cover more than the book? because this isn't in RRTCM.

the Faro is covered in Gerry Griffins Complete Card Magic DVD set if that is of any help.
He also shows a routine called "The Computerised Deck" which uses the faro to good effect.

There are free tutorials on faro shuffles at www.virtualmagicshow.com/stuff and more detailed lessons on b***** Hard Moves Made Easy, also on my site.

Take care, Ian

The best resource for the Faro that I have found is Mike Closes CD (now available as a download from his site).
Had me doing a perfect Faro in 90 mins. Still working on getting my hit rate up but can do 8 in a row in under 2 mins, so I'm getting there.

thanks for all the suggestions. All there is to do now is make a choice on which one to get.

Cheers
