I own Harry Lorayne's Close-Up Card Magic and i've been working on my
Paul Curry's Turnover Change...

though i can execute it well, the movement is not smooth...
1) Too much noise
2) jerky movement...

i dont wanna depend on HEAVY Misdirection...("Oooh! Look Up there... Superman *execute change*")

Some Tips/Pointers from the pro's maybe?

on the turnover change is it the one where you change the selected card back to the same color as the deck. If that is it I would just have to say practice makes perfect. I know I struggled with it also If you are still struggling with that part of a trick. I would be happy to pm you to help you fix the problem. wish you the best of luck.
