I didn't intend to offend anyone by simply using your for sale forum. It in fact seems very odd to me that you would ban someone for using only that forum. It is simply that I had/have nothing on topic to contribute to any of your other forums, but in my travels as a professional entertainer I have an extra magic trick that I have no need for. I thought I would offer it to your readers. In the future - if I weren't banned from using your forums - if had a question or comment to make on magic I would surely have posted it on your boards. Apparently that avenue has been closed to me.
I get the impression that your boards have a hierarchy of importance, and your etiquette states that one not post initially on the for sale forum. I have never encountered this in my travels to various BBSs, and I have been using BBSs for over a decade. It is strange that you hamstring your forums thus, and not allow someone like myself who is not a magician from offering a perfectly good magic trick for sale to your members. Maybe you should make this unwritten policy evident to people like myself who are not magicians but may want to communicate to magicians. I did read your welcome, and rule and etiquette postings and they do not touch on this subject. In fact I got the impression that you "promote, the sales of prop based tricks".
I was not trying to profiteer using your forums. In fact just the opposite. I'd take an offer of virtually nothing for that trick which apparently sells for between 200-400 pounds. I just want to get rid of it. If one looks at it rationally I was offering your community a service, and a favour. But apparently I've offended your sense of netiquette in the process, and apologise.
