Dunno if this has been done before, but it's something I been thinking about for a while.

Here it's done as a slightly dodgy "topsy turvy cards" routine.
Also planning to use it as a "Triumph" effect at some point too...

I thought that was pretty cool. I needed to do a bit of a double take on it to suss that one out. One of those real "Hang on a sec..." moments.

What is the effect "back to back"?
It's possibly the same effect. I'm not convinced this is an original idea, but it's something that's been flying around in my head for a while.

Can also be used to make a Triumph effect, which at some point I may try.

The effect is like so
1) shuffle face up cards onto face down
2) spread cards showing face up and face down cards
3) tell spectator to turn one face up card, face down, and square up the pile.
4) you take the cards and show them to spectator, showing him that cards are genuinely mixed
5) You name the card he turned over
6) you spread the cards, and they are all face down exept his card
