Best place to learn Anniversary Waltz

Postby ohminku » Jun 7th, '06, 03:03

Hey everyone,

I'd really like to learn Anniversary Waltz, and was wondering the best source to learn this trick.

I'm sure it's coverered in several DVD's and I'd like to purchase some but as a Uni student, I am on a budget. So please keep that in mind in your responses,

Looking forward to hear from you all!

Doc Eason is the person that popularized this trick and he has a great bar magic DVD set out (I'm not sure which volume Anniversary Waltz is on). There's great stuff on that set.

Kostya Kimlat does a great version, where various sleights are used and the selected cards transpose a couple of times before the final ending, alot more is happening than Doc's version. I think you can get this directly from Kostya.

However I prefer to use Doc's version just due to simplicity. Basically two cards selected and signed, they're lost, individually turn face up, finally fuse together in the spectators hands. Doc's handling is quite basic. But the end result is still strong.

And it's on Doc Eason's Bar Magic: The Real Work Vol. 3.
