blaine juice....

Postby IAIN » Jun 12th, '06, 13:49

*edited!*

someone reckons they've captured some of the water that was in the orb that Blaine nearly drowned in and e-bay'ed it...

its now been bought and the water is being sold in a glass-like inverted heart amulet for $50 a go...and you get a certificate of authenticity too...ridiculous...

good lord...will they clone him?

 Hope not! Lots of mini-blaines, all trying to drown themselves and whatnot!

I'm on Steve Fearsons e-mail list. I got the e-mail about this item yesterday. It said it actually has Blaines skin in it. Gross who would actually pay for this.

here is the actual email i was sent

In May of 2006 David Blaine spent 7 days submerged in a spherical, water filled tank in the middle of Times Square.

The stunt ended with David attempting to hold his breath longer than any human being on record.

When it was all over, they packed up the show and poured all of the water down the city sewer.

Fortunately, one enterprising young man had the notion to ask for some of the water as it was being disposed of. He was allowed to take the water.

Several days later, the water appeared on Ebay.com. Click here to see the original auction.

I realized that there were probably a lot of people out there who wouldn't mind having a bit of that water in an amulet. Not just other magicians, but anyone who is inspired by David Blaine and his achievements.

I managed to win the auction and was kind of surprised when I received the water. You can tell someone spent a week in it. There are particles and skin flakes in the water as David's skin was peeling very badly throughout the stunt. Seeing the water up close will give you an even deeper appreciation for what he did.

The water comes sealed in an attractive pendant, which you can add to your own chain if you wish to wear it.

Only 100 will be made.

More likely to make you puke.

OK guys, I'm selling small ziplock bags of air possibly exhaled by Derren Brown during his appearance in Birmingham in 2005. Of course, it may be a little diluted with the air from the several hundred spectators in the theatre but you can trust me - it's the real thing. Only £20 a bag, postage paid in the UK. Cash in advance only, no refunds. Don't miss this chance to appreciate what Derren did that night last year  .
