G-Day mates

Postby magicnevets » Jun 14th, '06, 05:33

Hi everyone,

My name is Steven and I'm from down under... Sydney Australia to be exact. I've been a magic hobbiest on and off since I was 10 (20 yrs ago). I started out with a marked deck so I could beat my sister at cards and before I knew it I was performing countless card tricks for my Mum, Dad and anyone else who would watch. I remember my first trip to a magic shop because I spent all the money I had to my name on colour changing knives and a few other tricks.

Now days I always carry something with me to wow my clients and friend. I always get a great reaction and that's what inspires me to keep performing and learning new tricks. I own my own successful company but am considering taking on a regular restaurant or pub gig just for fun. I not going to charge for it, I just like to perform. Has anyone ever done this before?

I stumbled upon this great site a few days ago while Googling and have been reading the forums every free moment I get!

Thanks in advance for reading up on me, I look forward to becoming an active member on Talk Magic!

By the way, I still have that original marked deck that started it all for me!

Steven,
Sydney, Australia (30, SH)

Welcome to TM buddy!

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

That Fatal question is......

"Can you tell me how to...."

This goes down really well

Okay, I've read the rules and I promise I will adhear to them... mostly.
I started to read night owels but I think it's best read when your nearly falling asleep. It's 9am here and I've had my morning espresso so I'm ready to bounce off the walls.

p.s. I love Stephen Mulhern, I love Stephen Mulhern, I love Stephen Mulhern.
