BROKEN WAND - MAGICAL WONDER

Postby Diva of Deception » Jun 16th, '06, 16:26

Many of you may know the dealership of Magical Wonders. Some of you may not yet know that Patti Sinclair has passed away.

Patti was particularly known to those of you who have attended J-Day for the past five years as she, together with her husband Myles, were always one of the three dealers in attendance.

Patti's American openess and kindness, particularly to magicians of all ages who were starting out, was legendary and she will certainly be missed. She was a member of the Watford Association of Magicians too, their treasurer for the past couple of years until illness caused her to step down from the post only a month ago.

So long Patti - she was a good friend to all magicians both here and overseas.

oh no. That is terrible. I heard she had been in hospital, but I thought she was revovering.

It was the Magical Wonders catalogue that helped me get the list of Magic Societies website up and running, and Patti was a huge help in this. We have had many converations over the last few years, and I was very much looking forward to meeting her again at the next Ipswich Magical Society Convention, where Myles and Patti were going to have a dealer stand.

It is a big loss to magic and my thoughts go out to Myles.

Completely shocked by this. I had met Patti a few times, and she was always welcoming and friendly. My condolences go to her friends and family.

How sad. I met Myles and Patti at the Mystic Circle of Magicians Convention in 1997.
